I've also used the mtm generators as well, they are heavier and louder than the Hondas, and the 1.5KVA unit really only runs at around 950Watts continuously, but they work really well and don't miss a beat.
Personally I'd pay the extra $70 and go to the 3.2KVA model (2200 watts continuous) so you can run just about anything from it.

Bear in mind that the 12v output on them whilst handy, is not regulated. They are a great little workhorse though, if a little louder than they could be. Perhaps they could be modded to run a bit quieter?

It's actually duel purpose with Deep Cycle capacity of 100 Amp Hours.
