Yes at my remote location dark site its always a worry sitting on the chair or leaning back on it in the middle of the night wondering if a giant spider is lurking on the wall!

Not a bad idea.

I was thinking of foam cored aircell insulation behind colorbond cladding with perhaps paver flooring with piers set with a cubic metre block of concrete and reo. Lots of ventilation like you mention.

The other design was the panels mentioned earlier in the thread with built in insulation and ready for render - could look good and be functional too.

I wonder about the cooldown times of insulated wall panels though.
