Those little steam engines look good. Can you use them for anything or are they just gadgets?

They are stirling engines not steam engines. They are a whole lot safer and cleaner to run as there are no boilers to blow or steam to burn you or oil and water spewing everywhere. The larger ones (I have the twin) are quite powerful and come with a pulley to drive accessories. I used mine at school today to turn an electric motor as a generator. I hooked up a light bulb and it worked . The kids love it and it screams along at 2500RPM.
