As far as I am aware all the eee pcs have an SD card slot and they take the new HCSD cards too, so up to 64GB (though when the eee pcs were released HCSD cards were only up to 32GB, so that is what the supported hardware lists).

You can certainly install software on it under linux, presumably you could persuade Windows to do so as well.
