Thanks to everyone that came along!! The weather didn't play ball although Friday night yielded several hours of pretty good seeing and clear skies with Saturday also managing a 2-3 hours also.
The field was very damp so most setup in the quadrangle. The continuing renovations at the camp were very impressive and welcome with the much more open kitchen and new benches and cupboards making a more pleasant experience for all.
The last 2 nights unfortunately were socked in, but we managed to amuse ourselves telling stories and playing "Cards Against Humanity".
Great to see some old friends and some newcomers make their way to the camp.

Malcolm

Thanks Malcolm for organising the camp, a job well done! Sky on 2 out of 4 nights is also great result in these particular times. It was really good catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, and it was an only pity that circumstances transpired that I wasn’t able to stay for the whole time. Looking forward to the next one!

Cheers -

My thanks also to you Malcolm for doing the hard work of organisation so that we can enjoy time under the stars (or clouds or rain - whatever!). Very much appreciated and good to see familiar faces after many years. Until next time.

Yep great camp, good to catch up with everyone. Even though I set up in the middle of the field and had to trudge through the wet field dozens of times!
Thanks Malcolm for organizing it.

P,S, Who won the best sense of humour game?
P.S. May have left a couple of pairs of binoculars there.

FWIW the ASV public viewing event at Sea Lake this year is on the same weekend as VicSouth.

I'm keen for some Snake Valley
VicSouth isn't really on the radar for me.

Bluester & I have already booked for VicSouth this year.
It’s a great weekend- shame it may clash with any proposed activity at SV.
