Still after these two items

A powerful green laser light.

A battery charger that will suit the battery inside my Canon 300D EOS camera. Also, one of those release cables.

Speaking of which, I was playing with my new compass today and pointed the North towards the North and then adjusted 12.5 degrees to move me from the North magnetic pole and towards the North Celestial Pole (all the reverse of course for the Southern Hemisphere).

I was not sure which direction to adjust by 12.5 degrees so firstly I tried East but this took me further away from where I believe it should be. So then I tried West and that appeared correct to me.

This was just a hand held exercise, but my question is, am I correct in adjusting by 12.5 degrees in the direction of West when I am pointing North?

A good secret friend helped me out with the answer to my compass question. From that it led me to this really good webpage: http://www.ga.gov.au/bin/geoAGRF?pnl...3&day=29&Ein=D#
