Just thought I'd weigh in with THE cheapest miners (head) lamp I have tracked down. $9.95 at Big W in the camping section. It was such a steal, I bought two! Onto one I have put some red celophane. That way, I have the read one for viewing, and then a white one for a safe pack-up afterwards!

yes bought one and have now entered the cyclops club. Very neat unit, however it cost me $33.95. But you can justify anything can't you!

by your command............................ ...

the only thing is is that it does not oscellate side to side.

I don't know about you guys but I don't like the new series of Battlestar Galactica, the old one was so much better. And the special effects were real!

Hey Beren have you the whole series in the old version. may need to talk! I have downloaded some Divx copies, have some to go to complete the series. Have the lot of the new one.

AH well at least I was thinking of a little mod to the unit. the LED's are just soldered to the mainboard. they can easily be desoldered and replaced with red superbright LED's, if one has the inclination.

As for me i know my limitations.
