Hi Kearn.

No, I've never seen any banding with the 400D I've been using. My last 2 comet McNaught shots were taken in the largest JPG mode (like you) for 2 & 3 minute exposures. And no, you won't see any amp glow from the 400D.

Howdy John,
appreciate the very helpful feedback, I have seen the prices the 400D goes for even in normal retail shops, recently I think i saw one for a bit over $1200 in a retail shop (with kit lens) there recently amazing, guess their (canon) getting some stiff competition now viva competition
