BTW, just out of interst and because this thread is about the sunspot I just had a quick look through the Binos. Is it my imagination or is 923 substantially bigger today? (no chance of me imaging it though, my tripod carrierouta has gone to work. That and it's blowing about 6 billion knots here today. I'd say we are in for a doozey of a thunderstorm this arvo)

it is I think, Mr Alder imaged it at lunch time, what a man he even did it in a gale !!!!!

Hi Paul

A thunder and hail storm just passed through so no viewing for me today. Hopefully tomorrow will produce better conditions. It would be nice to see these dramatic changes!
