I have subscribed for a couple of years now, and its well worth the read. A bit like the Gleanings for ATM's in Sky and Tel, but much more of it in each issue and tends to focus on commercially available equipment, not ATM stuff.

No if you do it properly it applies the discount first and you dont need CC details.

Ok - the word `club' probably should be in inverted commas in the in initial instructions as I was entering the name of my astronomy club .
Well this is good value ( free ! ) - you can download the PDF versions of the whole back catalog if you wish to . I am going to look for stuff that interested me and save issues straight to Dropbox so I can access from my portable devices.

Thanks Craig - I'd already tried that repeatedly (great minds think etc....!)
Last effort: I've contacted the site administrators: I can't imagine why I'd be on any kind of 'black list' - I'm such a lovely bloke (well, that's what my mirror tells me!!)

Thanks Mark. I have edited my original post so it is now obvious to enter "club". I wonder if you probably tried a few different astro club names too

Phew!
I contacted the site admin - the 'problem' appears to have been my email address: substituting a 'gmail.com' one rather than 'live.com' resolved the issue - thanks to Stuart at Astronomy Technology Today.

I first met Gary Parkerson at the 2007 Texas Star Party when he
debuted the trade journal Astronomy Technology Today and we have
subscribed ever since.
From Louisiana with a distinctive southern twang, Gary Parkerson can also
tell you a thing or two about cooking gumbo.
In an email today he wrote -

We will send out an email notice to you when the issue is live.
We are still adjusting to the challenges of working with our new publishing schedule of creating a magazine monthly instead of every other month.
The second issue will be available towards the end of February and the third issue should hit our regular planned schedule of going live in the middle of March.
We appreciate your patience as we better work through this process!
Also, I wanted to mention that we have had a tremendous response to our free astronomy club trial subscription with astronomy club members from the US, Australia, and a number of other countries taking advantage of the opportunity.
If you are a member of a club and would like to let other club members take advantage of the subscription, it’s a very simple process.
They simply need to go to this link on our site: https://www.astronomytechnologytoday.com/?l=Subscribe
Choose the option “Online Access Subscription $12”.All fields that do not say “optional” need to be filled out.
Additionally we have had a couple of reoccurring questions about the club subscription process that I thought I would address here.
First, the credit card area was still showing up when the code was used. It did not need to be populated, but it was confusing because it was on the page.
We have made a change so that when the discount code “club” is entered when choosing the option “Online Access Subscription $12” at https://www.astronomytechnologytoday.com/?l=Subscribe the credit card area does not appear.
Second, we have had numerous current subscribers ask if they could use the club code to extend their subscription.
We think that’s a great idea but we have to do further coding on the site this week so that you can log in to your account and take advantage of the club discount. We will send out a notice once the website is updated.
We hope you enjoy our first issue of the year and I again would like to express our team's appreciate of your patience in getting this issue to you.
Clear Skies!

ATT is a great mag. I subscribed to it well over a year ago, and from now on, I think I get it free ...brilliant reviews of astro-gear, honest and incisive. Will recommend club membership to my friends at the AST.
Cheers,
Richard

Thanks Gary, for posting that email. It highlighted some of the problems/queries people had when subscribing and was an interesting read.

Great for a freebie . I did a quick survey of a couple of issues and they run at about 33% adds. Lucky it's mostly Astro bling that's good looking !!

Subtracted to not give the wrong impression. I forget something I type may be interpreted differently then meant.
