Can't help you out with my FR Paul, it for the Tak and 2.7" in diameter

Can't even find a way to fit it to my ED80.

No it is the short canon one as shown in the thread. What camera adapter have you got at the moment?

I have the standard Eos T adapter, and the SCT adapter (C - T thread) and that one. That Orion one though unsrews so you end up with a short adapter with C thread on one side and T on the other

Awsome image Paul, i can never seem to get a good enough alignment to go for a deep M45.

This image is what i would love to get on the sensor, then process, what a buzz it must be to see all the blue nebulosity come out in thew image, oh well one day i may be able to get as good as this, in the meantime, i had a play around with your image, brought out a bit more blue stuff.

Definately an image to be proud of, and have it framed, i know i would be.
