ABC Radio programme "StarStuff" -- Axed - Again!

Hi everyone..a quick update.

We've had to change the name of the program....the ABC wouldn't let us continue as StarStuff so the program has been renamed to SpaceTme with Stuart Gary. Same great content...just a new name. We have a web page at www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com where you can find new subscription details and links. Could you please let everyone know. We really need everyone's help in rebuilding our audience from scratch. So far the support has been superb....but we still need more. Thank you...

Stuart Gary makes ABC redundant!

I emailed Stuart initially and he does visit here now and then.

I now get these new SpaceTime episodes as pod casts on my IPhone just like before as it sits right next to the now defunct ABC StarStuff podcast icon with its huge back catalog.

Stuart has done a great job in keeping the format as 'business as usual' with the current episode numbers following on from the ABC ones.

Not sure I like the 'darker' incidental music and 'posh' male voice over as the bright and sparky (+ female) original was just that, bright and sparky!

Lets hope that Stuart cuts the half hour / twice a week format and returns to the original 1 hour format ASAP!

SpaceTime builds upon the ever successful StarStuff but this time Stuart gets to make some money and own his own intellectual property.

The 'off course' ABC radio is now left with no investigative science journalist at all and becomes another rote science regurgitater, no longer the innovator!

so bye bye ABC...
... unless of course the ABC chooses to buy a copy the new SpaceTime episodes to update their wholly abandoned StarStuff page!!!

Fred Watson is also doing a podcast, Space Nuts - covers a lot of the same stories as Space Time, but perhaps not as high-brow.
