but just to clarify, one of the pics I started the thread with was captured with the S7000 and gave me my first taste for astrophotography. All my other shots including these posted here are done with the Canon EOS 20Da
It's quite possible that I could have delivered better outcomes by stacking lots of 15 seconds shots with the S7000 but I dont think it would be able to deliver the kind of results any DSLR allowing "bulb" mode can.
