Surfs Up

Couple of shots, taken from Greenmount, Sth Goldcoast
1) Headwind: 70-200 'L' 1.4x converter
2) Framed: 70-200 'L' 1.4x converter
3) Tubing: ED80 F7.5 600mm hand held, manual focus was tricky ?

Yep it was up.Got a few wave pics at Sunrise yesterday as well.Mind you there were no surfers down here.That,s a good job in #3.

Cheers Derek, was heaps of surfers about, maybe 100, big que for waves and a wait between reasonable action from the more experienced guys ! Must go again (with scope) when the surf pics up, has dropped of for a week or so ?

Thanx Andrew, was tricky manually with ED80, needed to shorten focus and shoot as the rider came in & hope something worked ? Didnt take long to slip the 'L' Lens back on : )

Great work Bob! Love taking terra pics with refractors as well but I've never tried it on moving targets. Excellent!
