Skywatcher EQ6 and Pier

Skywatcher EQ6 mount with GOTO on a steel pier. Ready for anything up to 14". Mount runs smooth and is in excellent condition.

A great setup for people getting serious about observing. Comes with 3 counterweights, handset and adjustable pier.

Asking $800.

Thanks for looking,

Richard

I'm not sure. I bought it from a fellow in Melbourne who is very knowledgable in the area of mount mechanics and kept it well maintained as have I. If I had to guess I would say maybe 7 years or so.

Synscan hand controller is Version 03.25

Regarding whether the goto came with the mount from the factory - I don't know. However it has been fitted with the interface module to run EQMOD (ASCOM) software so you can run your mount via planetarium software without having to rely on the hand paddle.

Hey Mark,

I got a EQ6 and I'm pretty sure they always came with GOTO. GOTO is a function thats from the hand controller or computer (If you use EQMOD, which I've heard is the bee's knees), the mount itself just has to keep track of where it's pointing - which is already 'built-in' into the mount. Also the version on the handcontroller should be upgradable.

Can I just say that this is ridculously good price for a EQ6 + Pier! Hope you sell it soon Richard
