Qantas Moon transit

Hi. Here is my 1st Qantas moon/sun transit image and my 6th plane/sun/moon transit image in total. This is my sharpest image so far for transits, there must have been some good seeing conditions.
Included is the main image, the info on the flight from my mobile app and the pic i took with my camera straight after of the back of the camera screen for FB
SWED 80, eq3 using manual- tracking turned off ( even the RA and DEC clutches were released in the rush)
500D captured in RAW.
Thanks for looking.
Steve.

That's a great shot Steve!

Watch out!
They may pinch for advertising.

Cheers,

Justin.

Cheers Flash. I think a combination of iso 400, faster shutter at 1/500, great calm conditions, seeing might have been really good?, the plane is lower in alt than in my other transits, all contribute to a better image overall.
For a few days per month, from my location i get a chance to image these pics as the planes follow the same path and it's just a matter of the Moon/Sun being in the right position.
Thanks

Hehe you wouldn't believe it ( or you probably would) an Adel to Auckland international transited the sun around the same time as I took this image. I saw the classic shadow on the ground outside so I checked what it was on the app. Sure enough, I missed a bigger one
Next time...
