That was a top gear episode. The plane took oof went 1 mile up and down while the car did a UI at the end of the runway and came back. The plane won.

I was at Williamtown back in early 80's....we had a Lambo take on a Mirage III0 over 400 metres.

Mirage won...well they did use a dual aircraft (lighter) with one pilot and min fuel load.

Lambo took of nicely but III0 reeled it in real quick from ~300m mark.

The most painful day of my life was when I had to return my Lamborghini Gallardo after a 3 day hire Yes it was all mine for 3 days!!!

I didn't sleep for 3 days either

Scary how little Willytown seemed to have changed, I was there in the lat 90's. Even saw the old SURAD RADAR I used to work on in the clip. They only decommissioned that in 2000!
