Up for sale is a Sigma 12-24mm 4.5-5.6 DG HSM Ultra Wide lens for Canon EF mount. Note this lens is designed for Full frame, and I have tested it on a friends Canon 5D mk2 and it is breathtakingly wide. Even on a crop camera it is still an ultra wide angle (I attach some photo's later).

The optical condition is excellent, and the HSM Autofocus is silent and fast. Because the cosmetic condition is fair due to a drop which mean't that lens hood and lens mount were damaged (pictured) and had to be repaired I have discounted it significantly to just $250 + shipping. Also the external finish is a little scruffy and the front lens cap is missing (but I provide a nice zipup carrying pouch for it as shown in the attached images).

This is an amazing chance to grab a pro ultrawide lens at a greatly reduced price!

Here are some images using the 12-24 at 12mm. Both with a 350D.

The Milky way shot is wide open at f4.5 - yes there is a bit of coma, so you'd problably need to stop down a little for astrophotography.
