Some nice proms in a quiet Sun on July-19th

Hi everyone,
In spite of the Sun to be too quiet this Saturday, there were some nice limb activities. I managed to capture some of those, despite a very bad seeing.

Thanks for looking,

Fernando

they are great - with one of those being near where Ar1520 went. Nice work. I managed to get some of them as well

Nice ones Fernando got a quick glimpse but nowhere near that resolution.I wonder how much more of the Proms you would see if you were at 0.8A(assuming you used the 0.4 A for these)?

Hi Derek,
Thank you for the considerations. As for the Ha filter bandwidth, yes I used a 0.4A filter. I don't know how much more details I would be able to see with a wider filter, my hunch is not much more. Maybe I could get a better contrast... it is a good question that I don't know for sure the answer.

Best Regards,

Fernando

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the consideration and for the image of your full disc. Yes, AR11520 still is a violent rebel, even on the dark side !!!

If you allow me a suggestion: your full disc image is flipped respected to the right orientation. All you have to do to fix this is to flip the canvas horizontally. When you do this the proms we are talking about go the the western limb (right hand)

As I said, this is just a suggestion OK ?

Best Regards,

Fernando

John, Liz and Matt:
Thank you very much for the kind comments. They are the best propellant toward the improvment.

Best regards,

Fernando
