G,day all

This object in CMa is one of my favorite open clusters. At a moderate magnification (approx x75) thru a 200-250mm Dob this object is sensational. at a quick glance all you can see is scatted stars surrounding Tau CMa a bit like fireflies but a nice long look rewards you big time. To me this object always looks like an angel, what do you think?

I'm not a great fan of open clusters, but this one (like the Little Gem and the Jewel Box) is one of my favourites. I like the compact nature of it. In my 12.5" there are two companion stars close to Tau CMa (and I assume visible in your 10") that add to the view.
