I am fed up with this cumulus. Even buying the third hand newt off IIS failed to make the clouds dissipate.
So I am an avid reader. I have found myself returning to the same books I have had for years- so I yearn for literary distraction.
Just to put some stuff in here as it might end up as the best Sci-Fi books ever
I have read (re-read)
Some early Ian Banks Culture novels
The Forever war Joe Haldeman
Connie Willis's "Dooms day book and 'to say nothing of the dog' both excellent literary time travel stories.
Footfall, and 'the mote in gods eye' niven and pournelle I think
I need others-
I am not into the iron orchid or middle earth stuff.
suggestions please for the best Sci Fi stuff I can read
Thanks
Graham
