EQ camera mount

I have had my camera tripod break so I decided to make a camera bracket for my EQ mount. I used a small half of a ring from a telescope and the part from the tripod where the camera screws on and mounted them on the connector plate from the EQ mount. Makes you feel good when you work out these little projects.

the ring has one side with a thread with a bolt screwed into the mounting plate and the other side of the ring half has no thread but a fork like piece where the other half of the ring fitted together which I have secured by using a bolt with a washer to hold it down.

Innovative Warren. Jen that is a very neat idea - let alone seeing the potential in a bit of RHS...
