It only a single snap with a canon 600D. Just got home late in the arvo from work. Opened the PST slapped it on a tripod and had quick look before putting the camera on for a quick snap.

On the weekend will piggy the PST on the Meade on wedge and take a ton of subs, should come out nicely I hope. Might take a few sun spot shots with the thousand oak filter on the meade too.

What kind of settings good for the subs as I'm totally green

Wow, nice shot Ken.

Did you use any barlows to achieve focus with the 600D?

Ta, no Barlow for this shot, the same order as the PST I got a 2"
Baader Hyperion Mark-III Clickstop 8-24mm Zoom Eyepiece with both a 2" inch and 1.25" nose and a T-adapter that screws on to the eyepiece. So I tried that out and took the snap.

Very nice bit of kit.

Ahh I like those Hyperions! I am looking at one for planetary and lunar photography.. Did you have to use an extension tube in between the T-Adapter and the DSLR? I only ask because the Baader examples all show a Canon EOS with a 40mm extension tube..

Nope, no extension tube, just the eyepiece, adapter, and camera adapter.
