Scope: SV80 ED
EFR: f/5.6 with WO F2 reducer
Mount: EQ6 Pro
Exposure Setting: Prime focus
Exposures: 15 x 9m 2hr15min 9:00 8/1/2011 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Seeing: no moon, slight wind, average seeing
Guiding: Orion Starshoot Autoguider using PHD with SV60
Focus: Bahlintov mask
Stacking: DSS
Processing: PS CS3, again some tracking issues

Right Ascension 11 : 35.3 (h:m)
Declination -63 : 01.1 (deg:m)
Distance (kly)
Visual brightness (mag)
Apparent dimension 40. (arc min)
Discovered by Royal Harvard Frost in 1906-8.
This bright nebula around the star Lambda Centauri is located within a few degrees of the more popular Eta Carinae Nebula.
The open cluster at the lower right is NGC 3766 (the Pearl Cluster). The strip of four bright stars in the centre of this object is open cluster IC 2944. The round nebula upper left is RCW 60 and the small nebula found centre top is RCW 61. This object is also known as the "Running Chicken Nebula."

Looks like the chook nebula for sure Trevor. Does look a little green on my screen Trev. One sick chook.

Not bad Trevor but I think it's a bit too yellow on my monitor. BTW, HLVG is a pretty good tool for removing green.
