Eagle + Omega Nebulas w/Canon

Hi All,
Im posting two more pictures which may be of interest taken with the Canon EOS300D, The Eagle Nebula and the Omega nebula, Equpt. was LX200 at F-6.3, Exp. time (both Pix) was 10 Mins. at ISO-800, processed in Photoshop DF removed, guided with an ED80+MX7C/Astroart, Ive found the Canon seems to lend itself to photographing Large to Medium Nebula, but does not do too well on smaller, dim objects, regardless of exposure time, by comparison to the cooled MX7C Camera, ill post a comparison tomorrow.

These look good, but I'd like to see a larger version of the shots. The size you have posted doesn't show much detail.

Nice shots. Did you remove the dark frame by subtracting it manually in Photoshop? I have to reduce the opacity of the DF otherwise I get coloured spots in the nebulae. You did a nice job removing the amp glow as well, I cant see any

Them "deep space guys" Dave??? What you're a planet man yourself, are you? I would be proud of anything even close to what is regularly being posted on these forums, be they planets, stars or DSOs.

Hi Scott,
Yes I removed the DF using Photoshop using difference-opacity at 100% and used Noiseware to remove the residual background noise.
