Have attached 3 RGB's & 3 IR 807nm images. I have a considerable body of data, have been processing for 2 days and still have not finished. Europa is in these images, I need to reprocess all of my data with an alignment done on Europa.
The animation was a real treat to watch – thanks! The image scale and the details are quite astonishing, something one would expect from a space mission fly-by!
It looks like you might need an assistant to process all that data; so much data and not enough hours in the day!
The RGB frames look stunning. Do you no longer bother with acquiring Luminance frames?
Excellent shots. A lot of subtle detail - especially considering how far away Jupiter still is!
Thanks Dave, just under 800 million km from my backyard.

Thanks very much Dennis, have never used a luminance channel with my Jup images. I resized these to 120% of the original, still looks ok.
I have 40 Gb of data from this one morning, but it was a top morning.

Thanks for the views.
Thanks Lester, I have a Toshiba core 2 duo @ 2.5GHz + 2.5 GHz with 4 Gb of RAM but the Flea3 captures a massive amount of data very quickly. I dump the data directly from the camera onto a 1Tb external drive. These RGB's have 2000 frames stacked per channel.

Thanks Bird, yes certainly some amazing structure in the NEB.
Those images are HUGE, and so full of detail. Makes me wonder could you have captured even smaller moons of Jupiter transiting across with that resolution?

Lester, these images have been resized to 120% of the original. For these captures I had 2400 frames per channel and they looked so good I probably could have stacked the lot but I showed a bit of restraint and only stacked 2000 per channel. There was very little post stacking processing involved, but I resized to 120% before doing that. I thought they still looked ok so left them at 120%.
Given good seeing I reckon there is scope to capture smaller moons, for sure.

Just thought I would add one of my RGB's at the original size for comparison Lester.
