Can I have some help on this one - took a mystery object last night

Hi learned people,

I took a quick shot last night as i took my son to Scouts - was only an hours worth and i pointed the scope in a region somewhere below or around Sagittarius. It is an open cluster with one distinctive feature - a large red star in a sea of blue ones? Its rather pretty, but in my haste I didn’t note what it could have been.

So – the challenge – can you positively identify the image contents?

It was the first open cluster I ever shot, and, I've loved it since. : )

ok - the usual - Stacked in deep sky stacker, and processed in Pixinsight 1.6. Its only 54 minutes worth (stack of 3 min exposures ISO 800) 127Ed and the cooled Canon40D. Resized in Photoshop for the web

It's a beautiful shot David. I was star hopping tonight and got it in the field by 'accident' - "That's the Butterfly Cluster for sure!" I thought, even though I've never observed it before, it was just so striking - really loks like a butterfly!

That came up nicely David, one red amongst blue is a real stand out.

Now there's an idea for a variation on the "the next photo" challenge...the "what's this" challenge.
