Darren,

My friend, that is some superb data. Those stars are to die for.

Push your processing harder, mate.

Use subtle curve layers, add some saturation and finish up with individually aligning your red, green and blue levels. It's all the basic stuff that I showed you at Snake Valley.

Attached is a 2-minute job in-between processing some landscape work. My red is a bit bodgy here, but, you get the idea.

Hope you don't mind.

No H, I don't mind at all, As I said, I have been unhappy with my processing of this particular image, either pushing it too far or not quite enough.

Help to get comments back, I have left it alone for a couple of days, hoping I could attack it with a fresh look, but am still not 100 % satisfied.

Thanks mate.

You still have lots of good data there Darren. Gives you something to play with while the weather is not cooperating.

And another one if you dont mind
Done a duplicate and copy/paste on the original, then selected screen and flattened image.
This will brighten the image and still keep the colours.
Then selectively bring out more colour in red and blue, then selective sharpen, that is it.
Not the best but it took 4 minutes in all.
