Depends on what you need... Peter Lee in Hong Kong can supply some stuff... Takahashi America obviously, Optcorp etc...

I've bought a lot of gear from him, as have a few of my friends, he's a great guy to do business with... He has the FSQ106 for less than I could get an FSQ85 here in Aus... That said, I'd prefer the 85...

The site looks really really dodgy, don't be put off... Just send him an email asking for the price for the FSQ85, clamshell etc and any other accessories you need, ask him to include postage costs to Australia... He's really good, very fast to reply, awesome prices and cheap shipping costs...

Don't thank me - Buy an FSQ85 and convince me to buy one too!

Make sure they pack with BUBBLE WRAP and not styrofoam!
You could be in for a world of pain!!!!:lol :

If I'd known about "Rick in Tokyo" I might have ordered through him.

I went with OPT based on previous experience and favorable Aussie dollar rate. The hassles with my TSA120 have nothing to do with them and they are more than willing to sort them out.
Service is excellent, and they stand by their warranty. But the US/AU exchange rate has slipped some since then and post can be pretty dear from the US.

Anacortes and Woodland Hills are also reported to be good, but I have no direct experience with them.

Just my $.02
Good luck!
Peter

Does "Rick in Tokyo" have a website? or just an email address and word of mouth?

Did have it, but can't find it now. He was only used Tak and other high end Japanese stuff anyway.
