Orionid from Canberra

Humayun (Octane) and I spent a great night out together under the Orionids last week. I got 320 frames in a time-lapse where I captured a few little ones. I didn't see the best one until I got home and all the gear was packed up!

Anyway, here's a sneak preview of the very first frame (and captured a meteor).

Baz.

Hi Barry,

Nice one! The widefield of the Milky Way is great, but to get a meteor as well makes it even better!

Nice work.

Cheers

Chris

Great shot Bloodhound31 look forward to seeing some more and time lapse thanks for posting

My handle in the 1980's was Casanova Kid but I must have got it because I was just the opposite I don't even know where it came from. We used to hang out around the Manly Yacht Club in Brisbane's Bay side. And driving all around Wynnum and surrounds.
