Got the RC8 out again last night. Had a couple of hours of clear sky, so decided to add some more data to this one. I'm not sure about the colour frames, I had a hard time trying to get the colour balance right(ish), I'm still not happy with the colour.
The extra Luminance data really helped. I took some flats today, they really, really helped.

Guided with an SBIG remote guide head in an Astrodon MOAG at about 3Hz.
This is a good result Stuart. The RC8 certainly delivers some fine detail across the galactic plane. Could be a little more contrasty however to express these lovely features. It does look like you've had some troubles with the colour data given the green and blue channels are black clipped. That said, I really like what you've put together. The data certainly shows promise. Well done.
