I was blessed with 2 magical nights - Friday and Saturday nights. Friday in particular had sensational seeing - some of the best I' ve seen. Stars even low in the sky were twinkling only slightly.

Not imaged very often this one is not far from the Rho Ophiuchi complex.
Tak BRC 250 at F5, Apogee U16M camera., Baader filters.

LRGB 90 30 30 30.

Wow. Now that is really nice. All the stars are resolved. Very good colors and details. I know what you're saying about the seeing - this week-end was the best I've seen in a long time.

nicely done greg, of the two you put up (ngc 300) i like this one best, just has more happening in it and a little off the beaten track which is probably the kind of image i appreciate most.

Nice image greg.

This one confused me a bit, so I ran it through astrometry. Hope you don't mind.

If i'm reading this right, NGC 6589 is to the left and IC 1284 is to the lower right. NGC 6590 and NGC 6595 overlap at the top left.

Its an interesting area with the dust and the pink and blue nebulas all with huge numbers of stars.
