Swan Nebula

Hi, took this of the Swan Nebula the other night as follows:

LRGB 30:20:20:20 through ED80 2min subs with DSI III Pro.

PS curves, levels. Used Hutech LPS-2 filter and WO x0.8 flattener.

This object has a dynamic range!

Thanks for viewing.

Nice shot of the outers reaches of the nebula....... but it looks like you cooked the "Goose" in core

That's better....... is it "Well done" rather than "over cooked" this time?

Thanks Mitchell. Keep plugged into this forum and you will be on your way for sure! Lots of learning for me -but I suppose that makes it worth it really. Long way to go, and if we get close we realise how much further we need to go!

Trevor - I would say "well done", don't think I can get it "medium rare" at that F6 focul length. Next time will get closer where I can display the outer region and the inner core in the one frame without "cooking the goose" as you say!

Very nice Paul. Good focus and guiding. Not an easy one to process, very bright core and faint outer neb.
