the ra drive takes 8AA's, can supply 4 Nimh with it

G'day Daniel,

Can't seem to find any specs for this mount on the web, any idea what weight it's capable of carrying? Does the RA drive allow slewing or is it purely for tracking?

Does it accept the Intes m500 mak?

PGC - it would handle it easily, need to screw on an adapter to hold the eq5 , dovetail see bintel's site

Chirs - the specs aren't listed anywhere, BIntel sell it witha 8" newt which weighs in at around 6-7 kgs - I will email Melb bintel & check for you

I know you screwed an EQ 5 adapter onto the M500, will it fit the SV1 aswell or would I have to purchase said adapter?
