dewdrop refraction

Had a friend ask if they could have a print of this recently. Thought I'd post it here.

Those larger dewdrops with the flower refractions in them are only one or 2mm diameter and that's not a leaf, it's a blade of grass. I used a 100mm macro lens and 68mm of extension tubes to get 2:1 magnification.

Awesome shot Troy, I've seen some of these before on the Australian Photography forum, yours is every bit as good as those I have seen.

Brilliant shot Troy!

Makes my dew-covered rose images look a bit ordinary!

Cheers,
Stephen

WOW!

And Stephen, there's nothing ordinary about your dew covered roses.

Beautiful shot Troy.

I love doing this type of macro shot but haven't done so for a while, this is an inspiration.
You've done a splendid job.

Thanks Andrew and Humayun. I love taking these shots. Just need the inspiration to get up early to take them, and think I'm getting some here...

Utterly fantastic.. One of the best photos I've seen on this forums, and there have been some absolute rippers posted on here...

This takes the cake!

Stunning image Troy,

The reflections in the dewdrops are amazing, such simple and most beautiful symmetry.

Regards
Trevor
