We have to save you, Queen Jen!!!

Green cordial is not nice. That deadly green Absinthe is bad enough, but now you're into that green swamp liquid the south-of-the-border residents call water. How many more green Jens are out there??? No wonder you all drive like loonies when you abandon Vic and head north for the holidays.

We have to get some nice red cordial into you before it's too late.

I was tempted to say you don't need red to do stoopid things. But that's rude and nasty. So I wi... wi... wo... won't. I squawk like a chicken too.

I'm chuckin' out all my Green Ginger Wine too.

Cheers Chicken Man Marty

Marty, just chuck that green ginger wine my way matey.
Yummmmm
Nothing like it on a cold night by an open fire.
I make a pretty mean imitation of it using 70% firewater out of the still.
Ends up being around 60%.
Guarenteed to cure just about anything.

Hey You Stoney's Winos,
Cut it out. Its only morning and a whole day before I can obtain another bottle. After tipping out my other stocks because its GREEN.

Now I have a thirst for it.

Hey! What is going on here? Before I took my av pix the Egg was red?

Do you have another confession to make? Oh Green Majesty?

Happy Easter all,
Marty

Lightbulb Absolution From Your Original Confession?

Hey Jen (and others of your ilk),

Other than the strange direction this seemingly lost post has gone, perhaps it is now worthy to reconsider the original confession and bring the discussion back on track...

I.e.

THAT HAS NEVER WATCHED ANY OF THE STAR TREK MOVIES / SERIES
One thing we are all dying to know is how or when you are going with taking up watching some of the six (or seven) Star Trek series or one of the movies?

Other than drinking various forms of the green stuff to a complete stupor (I noticed Midori wasn't mentioned, by the way) have you been tempted to find out a little more and actually watch some Trek - at least so the rest of us can sleep well at night!! (Naturally when it was cloudy! )

NOTE: I actually just watched again Star Trek : Enterprise in Series 2, with the great episode "Carbon Creek", which might be a good starting point. I don't know if it is really as good as Wife Swap that you mentioned before, but it does have some intrigue and is not at all "dated."
I watched this same episode for the first time in about two or three years and thought it was pretty good - probably made in the tradition of the original series - being not overly too sci-fi.
Else have you come to the decision / conclusion that this is all a now bit to kooky or odd for you liking?
Also does any of the many Star Trek devotees have any other suggestions of the best Star Trek episodes for newbees so the might become interested in watching it - and at least become enlightened like many of us.

I can see that you have been doing your best to convert this infidel OSG. She resists too much in my mind.

We need something a little more persuasive to perform the attitude adjustment.

No more Melon Liquer, Creme De Menthe or Stone's. Replace with the red.

Tied to a chair that is bolted to the floor. Matchsticks to keep the eyes open. A head restraint to maintain her view on the Star Trek program.

Once OSG has been deemed to have viewed enough of Star Trek. She is released. Her comprehension is tested and each wrong answer is met with a glass of red wine which she must drink.

Extreme resistance calls for desperate measures.

Do you have anything to add Enchilada? ( Consider OSG's fondness of the emoticons).

"Cool" , emoticon is only here because its red.

What about the Easter Egg? OSG? It was red, now its green????

Cheers Marty

Hey Enchilada,
We just may have a leverage implement. What do you think Enchilada?

Do we give OSG a redeeming opportunity? Make her give all the toys back?
Throw her to the wolves and take her emoticons?

Hey OSG, I'm not stupid, I know that when ya' egg is changed from red to green its still not good for ya'. I didn't fall for that one!!! Ha!

Cheers Marty

Lightbulb "Emoticon Denial" Might Be Just Too Drastic...

Awwagh. I was so hoping we could tempt you somehow to the "dark side"...

Drats.

The savage Orion Slave Girl Prerogative (OSGP) in force I suppose...

How could we take emoticons away from Her Greeness, Marty?

Jen simply would not be Jen without them.

Perhaps if we can get her to watch at least ONE episode of Star Trek (a nice happy episode) before we take too drastic an action

(Note: Jen, how's the effort for vastly improving the range of emoticons here in IIS going? I thought you were going to out-and-out bribe our lord and master, Iceman, to gets some more in? )
