First image of jupiter for this season, still very low and seeing-affected but it's a good start.

Beautiful first up image, Anthony. Excellent detail and colour. I can't wait to see what you're producing in a month or two.

Hi Anthony

Well, what an appetizer for things to come! The details and resolution of the various features look excellent despite the low altitude and soft seeing. Good to see that you haven’t lost your touch, nor appetite, for Jove!

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Bird,

Nice to see Jupiter back on the menu for 2009. I note that it is currently at -16 degrees Dec so it should present as an excellent imaging target again this year.

Regards
Trevor
