Very nice job on this one Bert. Have seen it on the star charts but have not even taken a look at it. Now i know why it's called Southern Plaedies.

A very pleasing image.

I also have often seen this one in the Sky and wondered what it would look like in an image.

Not often imaged.

Bert, the image is spot on, as always, however what happened to the expanding blue nebulosity that is usual in these type of images.
