Smile Moon Afocal Canon Ixus 400 ETX 125

This is probably the first picture I took after receiving my Telescope.
I made a bracket for the camera so I could you the auto timer function.
This is taken using the supplied 26mm eyepiece.

Nice shot John....just looks a wee bit soft, though.

You know you could've bought a camera bracket for afocal pics from Bintel

I'm a bit short sighted and astigmatic, so focus is a bit of a challenge.
It's not easy looking through an eyepiece with glasses on.
I've found a few ways around it since using a webcam, but that's for another post.
I think I had to set the camera on auto, which means you can't set it to focus at infinity, so that may have been a factor as well.
