well my last 2 nights out were a flop... both times my power supply died in the butt after about 2 hours froma full charge! looks like i'll have to go get another one or get a new battery for this one.
What would be good tho would be if i could hook my heq5 straight up to a powerpoint. dont know if this can be done tho... anyone got any ideas? anyone with electrical knowledge that could fix something up?
go to jaycar (actually do a search in IIS as I think this has been covered David) and get a power supply, it is about 59.00 from memory 12V 4 amp 240V supply
You'll need an inverter to convert 240VAC to 12VDC or one of those little 12V power supplies you can get from any electrical store, and a decent extension cord!!!. Plus, you'll need the right connector for the mount.

If you still consider a battery this one
may be not bad at all. It has 20AH capacity which should be enough for running your HE5Pro for 8-10 hours or even longer. I'm actually thinking to get this for my laptop but since it has interchangeable plugs and output voltage levels I cannot see why it won't work with EQ mounts.
Considering its size and weight it should win against the same capacity jump starters.
and if you decide to get power from a powerpoint this one
should be ok for EQ mounts. It's also supplied with interchangeable plugs and has different output voltage levels, including 12V 4ah. And it's just $19 landed in AU.

the 17ah one i got from supercheap lasted 2 full observing seesions (sometimes more) on a full charge and cost 1/3 the price... i might look at that again as it was a bargain. or maybe that ac one you posted...
