My first pic.

I think this is in the macro thingy setting, (still trying to understand this camera) i liked the result and being the first good pic with my new toy, i wanted to share this with IIS.

Very crisp pic Peter. Looks like Macro to me!

Now point that new toy heavenwards and show us what it can do.

By the way, what camera is it?

Not sure about macro. IMO Macro would be focused on the raindrops on the petals. As for the image the Flower is nice but the sky blow out really makes it hard on the eye's. Try taking the image with some sort of backdrop ie. More plants. What settings did you use too? Sorry this isn't a photography Forum so I will be quiet now, didn't mean to sound like a rusted old deck chair..

All that critisism aside, well done!

That's definitely Macro, you can tell by the out-of-focus background.. nice shot Peter, but you should probably change angle so you don't have the white/grey sky in the background, as Andrew said above.

Great work for your first shot!

I have tried pointing to the stars and moon and i just can`t work the camera out as yet but i will get there one day.
The camera is a OLYMPUS C-725.
