Centaurus A Galaxy..MY PERSONAL BEST!

Hi Guys,

This is my personal best of Centaurus A Galaxy. Taken just after clouds making the sky pitch black. Never have i seen it so dark from my area before. I'm rapped at how the image turned out in the end. Normally i'll try to improve on my images and keep taking the same objects over and over again until i get something better, with this, i don't think i can ever capture anything better. I can now imagine taking my scope to a pitch dark site. gees.

14 x 5 Minutes at ISO 400.

Second image is viewing it actual size then cropped around the edge.

Hi Res here:

Nice and sharp Eric, you've captured some great detail in the central dust lane.

Top shot.

Wow!!! Beautiful work, Eric!!!!!

Pity about the big dust bunny right through the centre of the Galaxy

You certainly deserve to be happy with that image
