Battery?

My 12v marine battery that I use to power my scope has died and I am curious to see what everyone uses for a power supply.

I am also thinking of making some sort of box to house the battery in.

Some pics of your set up?

BTW it was a deep cycle battery ED

It certainly looks like you know your stuff when it comes to a power supply. Can I ask where did you get the box that houses the battery?

Hello Ed

Sorry I took so long getting back to you - I have been away and then did not get back to this thread until today.

The box containing the batteries is from Dick Smith - it is sold as a tool box with two cantilever trays in the upper section. I removed these and made the holes for the cig lighter sockets, meters and switches(Jaycar).
