There have been some great wide angle images of southern nebulae on IIS lately. Here is a list of all the 49 NGC & IC nebulae south of declination -20. It is a tab delimited file. NGC & IC nebulae in the LMC & SMC are not included.
The best southern nebulae are:
NGC 2467
NGC 3199
NGC 3324
NGC 3372
* IC 2631
NGC 3581
NGC 3603
IC 2948
IC 4603
NGC 6188
IC 4628
NGC 6334
M 20
M 8
* NGC 6559
NGC 6726
* these two are faint
Here are some southern nebulae negative images from http://www.ngcic.org/dss/dss_ngc.asp
They were made by Bob Erdmann using the Digitized Sky Survey (DSS).
All of these nebulae are south of declination -25 and all were found by John Herschel except N2467 was found by his father William and N3199 was found by James Dunlop. I will add more nebulae images tomorrow. DSS Acknowledgement, DSS Copyright Notice

NGC 3324 was found by James Dunlop in 1826, NGC 3372 (Eta Car) was found by Nicolas Lacaille in 1752 and the other 4 nebulae were found by John Herschel in the 1830s. Only part of NGC 6334 is shown.
Here are some of the nebulae in the LMC. The images were produced by Bob Erdmann. These nebulae were all found by James Dunlop in 1826 using a 9" reflector in Paramatta, Sydney. He made the first catalogue of the Magellanic Clouds. NGC 1763 is a great but not well known nebula. http://www.ngcic.org/dss/dss_ngc.asp, DSS Acknowledgement, DSS Copyright Notice
Thanks Houghy, here are some more LMC nebulae. Lacaille found NGC 2070, the Tarantula, Dunlop found the rest of these nebulae. http://www.ngcic.org/dss/dss_ngc.asp
