Tarantula nebula

I was having large excursions in my mount and lost 147 exposures .
Trying the Topsy Turvy galaxy tonight , "east heavy" .
33 120sec lights
20 darks
20 flats
20 bias

Nice images, Rusty. I can see the Ha and Oil so I'm presuming you used a dual NB filter? Alex

Hi Alex !

No I haven't used any filters just the OSC camera .
Existing colours enhanced in lightroom , nothing added from memory : )

Over the weekend , I realised I was editing the stacked light file , not the resulting image from the flats , bias , darks , lights stacked together , duh . What a difference that made .

I was also using the Histogram Transformation and Pixelmath incorrectly .
Figured out why my photo looked different in Lightroom compared to Photoshop .

I initially wanted this to be dark and stormy looking but realised there were cloud structures that came alive when I hit the orange slider in Lightroom .
