12th Dec Lots of sunspots

12th Dec. Lots of sunspots this morning. Atmosphere was very windy and cloudy but I found a blue patch passing by to capture this single exposure of the sunspots at 540 nm wavelength. Canon 550d camera.

Compare with my image of 10th Dec.

Cheers John W.

Well done finding that patch of blue John! There's quite a few active regions on that disk including some just popping up out of nowhere. Nice image
