just finished lunch. i went to some parkland/reserve on teh opposite side of the cooks river to the airport.... there i sat on a rock eating lunch and taking pictures while giant planes landed.... till i saw it!!!
a little grassy knoll right under the flightpath near the riverbank. it was about 2 meters tall and flat on top. "
should I?" i asked myself, "
bloody oath I should!!" came the answer from one of my personalities. and so with a rather large plane coming in (one of the lumpy ones (747 isnt it?)) I climbed the embankment and kneeled on the grass, which had been flattened by others. i set the camera to "sport mode"...
WOW!! it was such a rush! the plane was so close that i felt i could touch it!!!

i held the shutter down, not really watching the screen and got 2 shots off before it was over me. a piece of body neer the landing gear somewhere and the tail.... my heart was beating at a million mile per hour!!!
