Cleaning 12" Mirror

Hi Guys,
I have taken my 12 inch Light B. out of storage, and have found that the main mirror needs to be cleaned,

I am not sure exactly what the process is But I am prepared to give it a go,
I have cleaned a few objectives over the years, But never a mirror.

I would appreciate any and all, suggestions.

Regards
Peter

Peter, there are plenty of past discussions on the process, one faitly recently, so searching past threads is a great way to save everyone's time. The search function is easy to use.

Hello Peter

I have used a liquid polymer ( https://www.photoniccleaning.com/ ) from <<< on my Edge 1100. it had some some light marks ( fingers?? 8-( )
The product is a liquid that is moved around over the glass - or lens and allowed to dry, a lift-off tab is set into the liquid and is used to lift off the dried film.
All the " stuff " on the mirror was / is lifted off. It is a bit nerve wracking to put the liquid on the glass but the results were well worth it.
