I got a night and a half of Sii Friday 17th and Saturday 18th this month that wasn't flash hot but I painfully used it somehow to do a HST blend. I don't know when I'll be able to reshoot the red channel with the rain now but the colours aren't too shabby I reckon. No doubt more data will smooth the noise out and bring more details. I'll also be able to take care of those fairy floss stars. A bit green of course, but hey that's me.
Impressive fine detail, especially in the keyhole and the Fickle Finger. That star near the distal knuckle of the raised finger can easily burn out the finger, but here it is pinpoint.

Thanks Mike. I'm aching for some more data. It's going to be clear but surface wind is a problem. Maybe Sunday night looks better.
Very nice - and I like the green. There are too many images where all the green gets nuked the only thing left is bright blue and bright orange. Leaving a little bit of green gives a much nicer and more subtle transition between colours (IMHO).

Thanks mate. Yeah I know what you mean by orange and blue. Not a fan either as all the colour variations get blended together and you can't see the difference anymore.

Thanks Rodney. Actually Ivo did a repro for me and he got so much more details.
