This image taken Sept 1, seeing arround 4 - 5 so I was surprised to see the small rille.show up in some of the avi frames. The stacked image confirmed I got it. A first for me.
Sequence taken with handheld and unguided afocal sony handicam / GSO 10 inch / 10 mm Plossl .
135/200 hand picked frames stacked in Registax.
Exported aligned avi from Registax for further alignment using ImageJ and Stackreg plugin (stackreg can align x,y and rotation ) to reduce field rotation effects, note the image border hasn't been cropped out - it worked well.

Deconvolution using ImageAnalyser (not sure of the algorithm it uses but seems to work)
A Trous noise reduction in PixInsightLE and final tweaks in Gimp.
I have tried MAP processing but I don't think I gain anything perhaps due to residual field rotation or noisy data drowning out the result. I will keep trying anyway.
Thanks guys for your nice comments. Field rotation is caused by my technique - Aim the camera down the eye piece and track the target as it moves accross the field of view. I take about 10 sec of avi then re-alligning the scope and repeat 4 - 5 times. Very low tech and virtualy no set up required. It works but has field rotation due to not being able to hold the camera in fixed position relative to the scope.
